Ms. Bos is an experienced registered patent attorney before the United State Patent and Trademark Office. Ms. Bos advises both U.S. and foreign clients regarding IP protection and enforcement strategies, including negotiating and drafting contracts and license agreements. Ms. Bos performs patentability searches and writes patentability opinions; secures U.S. and foreign utility, design and plant patent rights; performs trademark availability searches; secures state, federal and foreign trademark rights; and obtains U.S. copyright registrations. Ms. Bos’ years of IP experience includes attending board meetings and tradeshows on behalf of her clients. Ms. Bos has advised numerous clients regarding their IP portfolios including a vertically integrated fruit tree nursery, orchard and packing house; a manufacturer of equipment for musicians; an international group of affiliated plant intellectual property owners and licensees; a foreign government department of agriculture; and independent, corporate and institutional inventors and plant breeders. Ms. Bos has experience in assisting clients with firm management including billing and collections monitoring and analysis; development of client screening and conflict check systems; development of filing and archiving systems; development of case data management systems in cooperation with computer programmers; and drafting standard forms and letters.

Education:
Ms. Bos attended Heritage University in Toppenish, Washington and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and biology. She received her attorney training through the Washington State APR Rule 6 Law Clerk Program. Ms. Bos completed all required studies, exams, coursework and jurisprudence reading, and qualified to sit for the Washington State Bar Exam in July 2005.
